CLAIRE GEL

CLAIRE GEL

CLAIRE GEL is an oral bronchodilator indicated for the treatment of inflammatory airway disease in horses. It can be used alone or in conjunction with antibiotics.

CLAIRE GEL contains clenbuterol hydrochloride. It is a bronchodilator and has expectorant activity increasing the volume and reducing the viscosity of mucoid secretions to promote airway clearance. The oral gel form, when administered 30 minutes prior to feeding, ensures full and accurate undiluted dose delivery to the gut. As Clenbuterol has a high first pass clearance by hepatic metabolism, "bolus" dosing may exert a more immediate and therapeutic effect compared with absorption of in-feed preparations.

KEY POINTS

The product has been developed and marketed by the leading equine anthelmintic company that developed Equimax. A product you know will be supported with technical, veterinary and commercial support. A product that is the result of quality manufacture and innovative development designed specifically for the Australian market.

CEREAL PELLET PRESENTATION

Take the fuss out of worming by presenting the anthelmintic as a treat presentation. No fuss/no sifting/no worries.

PALATABLE

Readily eccepted by horses so it makes worming easier.

CONTAINS IVERMECTIN

Up to 100% effective against equine worms including Bz resistant strongyles, and bots (does not treat tapeworm).

DOSE INTERVAL OF EVERY 6 - 8 WEEKS

Drenching interval fits in with existing programs.

WIDE MARGIN OF SAFETY

Safe to treat all horses including pregnant mares and stallions. You can have peace of mind when using on your valued horse.

CIRCULON PASTE

CIRCULON PASTE
EFFECTIVE AND SAFE VASODILATOR THERAPY.
For conditions of the lower limb that may benefit from improved blood flow.
CONTAINS ISOXSUPRINE HYDROCHLORIDE.
Expert a peripheral vasodilatory action on the blood vessels of the lower limb, distal to the carpus and the hock. Acts to reduce blood viscosity and improves erythrocyte deformation characteristics to re-establish flow in blocked or damaged vessels.
EASY TO ADMINISTER PASTE FORM.
Uniquely formulated paste ensures precise and accurate dosing. Paste formulation reduces the risk of contamination of other horses in stable due to powder sifting and drifting in air.
ANISEED FLAVOUR.
Pleasant taste improves ease and accuracy of dosing and minimises wastage.
EQUINE PHARMACEUTICAL
VASODILATOR
PROPERTIES
Vasodilator. Reduces blood viscosity. Aniseed flavoured paste.
ACTIVE CONSTITUENTS
Isoxsuprine hydrochloride 40mg/mL
PRESENTATION
Paste: 230mL bulk pot (with a 10mL oral dosing syringe).
INDICATIONS
As an aid in the treatment of conditions of the lower limb in horses, where vasodilation would be beneficial including:
Navicular Disease.
Pedal Osteitis.
Caudal heel syndrome.
Sesamoiditis.
Pedal bone fractures.
Damage to the coronary band.
Slow growing hooves / hoof repair.
Wound healing such as heel lacerations.
MODE OF ACTION
Isoxsuprine is adrenoceptor agonist causing vasodilation by relaxation of vascular smooth muscle. This dilating action is greater on the arteries supplying skeletal muscles than on those supplying the skin. It exerts a peripheral vasodilatory action on the blood vessels of a horse's lower limb, distal to the carpus and hock. It also produces positive inotropic effects, improves blood viscosity and erythrocyte deformation characteristics to re-establish blood flow in blocked or damaged arteries.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Do not use in pregnant mares, or within 14 days postpartum.
Do not administer following recent arterial haemorrhage.
Not to be given to horses intended for human consumption.

CENTRIGEN TRIGGER SPRAY

CENTRIGEN TRIGGER SPRAY
KEY POINTS
CONTAINS CETRIMIDE
Antibacterial, which destroys or stops the growth of bacteria, thus preventing infection and allowing the wound to heal.
HYDROCABON PROPELLANT
Contains no flourocarbon so safer for the environment.
BRIGHT COLOUR
This means that you know exactly where you have sprayed Cetrigen and that the wound is totally covered.
CONTAINS INSECT REPELLANTS
This repels flies and other insects from the open wound ensuring a better environment for healing, less irritation and reduced contamination of the wound. It also decreases the chance of habronemiasis, fly strike, etc.
DRYING EFFECT
Drying effect is useful as it further decreases the attractiveness of the wound for bacteria and insects.
