KELATOLYTE

KelatoLYTE is a balanced formulation used to replace the electrolyte minerals lost in sweat. It is designed to prevent symptoms such as dehydration, fatigue, reduced water intake, muscle weakness, decreased performance and tying up that all occur as a result of electrolyte deficiencies or increased sweating.

WHAT IN IT?

Guaranteed Analysis: Formulated to mimic the actual composition of equine sweat. Sodium. Potassium, Chloride, Magnesium, Glucose.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

When used as directed. KelatoLYTE assists in maintaining the body's acid-base balance, fluid balance and circulatory functions. triggering nerve functions and facilitating in muscle contractions. KelatoLYTE prevents poor performance due to sweat loss by replacing the electrolyte minerals lost naturally through sweat. KelatoLYTE does not contain any acidic or basic compounds that have the potential to adversely affect your horse's acid-base balance and is therefore suitable for feeding to all horses under any discipline, whether aerobic or anaerobic conditions. This product does not contain any substances that conflict with the rules of racing and is apple flavoured to ensure satisfaction.

HOW IT IS USED?

Feed 30g per day if the horse is simply sweating lightly. This should be increased to 60g for moderate sweating or 90g for heavy sweating. Spelling horses in hot environments also require 30g per day. For better absorption, the daily dose of KelatoLYTE should be split into two feeds. Always ensure a supply of clean, fresh water is available when using this product. Do not add KelatoLYTE to your horse's water. For use as an isotonic drench, mix 60g of KelatoLYTE in 5 litres of water. Always consult with your veterinarian before using an electrolyte drench. Electrolyte paste can also be formed by mixing 30g of KelatoLYTE with water or apple sauce. Electrolyte paste should not be used on dehydrated horses or those resuing to drink.

CAN IT BE USED WITH ANYTHING ELSE?

Yes, KelatoLYTE is regularly and safely used in conjunction with all Kelato Animal Health Products, such as KelatoVit performance, BetaCALM, LoosenUP, SwellDOWN, Voltage Paste, PulmonAID and ZanaBOLIC.
