THE ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DESIGNED FOR HORSES

High efficacy in a variety of inflammatory disorders. Flunixin (Flunequin) is used in horses for a variety of inflammatory and painful conditions: colic, colitis, exertional rhabdomyolysis (tying up), endotoxic shock, respiratory disease, eye injuries and diseases, general surgery, laminitis, and other muscculoskeletal disorders.

Oral studies in the hose show onset of Flunixin (Flunequin) activity occurs within 2 hours of administration. Peak response occurs between 12 and 16 hours and duration of activity is 24 to 36 hours.

FLUNEQUIN Paste - the potent non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent.

Flunixin meglumine (Flunequin) is a potent nonnarcotic, nonsteroidal, analgesic agent with anti-inflammatory and antipyretic activity. It is significantly more potent than pentazocine, meperidine, and codeine as an analgesic in the rat yeast paw test.

ACTIVE CONSTITUENTS:

EACH 30gm of PASTE CONTAINS

Flunixin meglumine USP equivalent to Flunixin 1500mg

DOSAGE:

The recommended dose of flunixin is 0.5mg per pound of body weight once a day. The FLUNEQUIN paste syringe, calibrated in twelve 250-pound weight increments, delivers 125mg of flunixin for each 250 pounds. One syringe will treat a 1000 pound horses once a day for three days, or three 1,000 pound horses in one time.
